
Lamb Madras
This is one of the few Indian dishes that has coconut in that I actually like – as a northerner, we rarely use coconut, but the combination of the coconut and tamarind really makes Madras a great dish to try. Nice and easy to make and it goes great with all sorts of meat, especially the cheaper cuts like mutton or oxtail. Enjoy! Check out the full recipe!

I tried this after seeing your post on reddit. It was good for my first Indian dish ever, but I think I need a couple more tries. Mine didn’t have a reddish brown color, just plain brown. I may have used too much oil. Also, grinding cinnamon sticks in a mortal and pestle is a bitch 🙂
