It’s here! EkantCookCurry is ALIVE!
A little bit of background as to how this has all come about. A lot of people loved my Indian food, so asked for some way of cook them at home. Personally, I find traditional Indian cookbooks daunting – they have ingredient lists a mile long and then a beautifully artistic photo at the end – you just don’t see how it gets from A to B. Video recipes are cool, but if you’re anything like me, I skip through half the video and miss something important. So, I decided to combine my love of photography with my cooking. I posted a couple of recipes on my FB page and on Reddit – next thing you know, people are asking me to start a blog or write a book or just keep going! Next thing you know, I’ve started a blog dedicated to photo recipes on Indian food.
I hope you enjoy what you find here. Feel free to share, comment, request recipes and I’ll see what I can do! Enjoy!
I’ve been following you on Reddit. I made one of your recipes last week and I’m preparing another tonight. I’m happy to see you got the blog going because now I can send by friends to one place for all your recipes.

Hey Elisa ~ 1. How can Whole Foods not have shiitake muosrohms? I’m definitely going to make the Magical Miso Mushroom soup. The hubs *loves* muosrohms. Maybe I’ll make it with the Dark Leafy Greens with Sesame Miso Dressing too.2. Love your photo of the Roasted Brussels Sprouts, Apples and Onions. I have been eating *a lot* of roasted brussels sprouts so this looks super yum to me.Keep on sharing your photos! I’ve been tagging mine on Instagram with #vegcookbookclub
