Murgh Mughlai – A creamy, decadent chicken dish from the Mughals

Mughal food is famous for its richness and the patience needed to make it.  The royal cooks would spend years mastering the food for their rulers.  This dish is one of the simpler dishes they produced and acts as a great ‘gateway’ dish to build people into richer, stronger curries, if people are a little spice shy.  Add in more cream to soften the taste a little or less cream if you like the warmth of the cardamom and cinnamon.  At any rate, I hope you enjoy it as much as we did tonight 🙂
