And now for something completely different – Chicken Rendang (Malay Chicken Curry)
I know this is meant to be an Indian food blog, but one of my former students was keen to cook me a traditional Malay curry before he left NZ. So, here’s a guest post by Sudhan Balakrishnan, Chicken Rendang – it’s the dish he cooked on NZ Masterchef and it tasted great!
If you have access to a local Asian supermarket a lot of the ingredients should be easy enough to find, although they may only be available frozen (better than nothing!).
